Quarantine is here and so is athleisure! That is why I am here to give the 411 on what loungewear pieces are must haves for your quarantine uniform. As a fashion lover, we need maximum comfort but don’t want to be looking like a couch potato. No sir! As a college student I thought my loungewear journey was in full force- I was wrong. My closet was lacking the ample supply of sweats and hoodies. Luckily, due to online shopping, I have sought out the best pieces and am ready to share with you. Below I have spilled the tea on my athleisure must haves!

This set is a special one. Wild Honey’s owner and designer is an alumni from my major at my school, and an alumni from my sorority! She designs pieces that are killer and are made to make a statement. Her name is Sam Ardizonne. Only Sam could convince me to wear tie dye biker shorts. But damn am I glad that she did. She is iconic.
This tie dyed ensemble is the perfect lounge staple for the summer months. The biker shorts are great for the heat, but the crew is comfortable for the air conditioned interiors. Then polished off with the tie dye and Givenchy decal? Yes please! What I like most about these sets is the option to personalize with the designer logo.

The CEO of tie dyed sweat suits is Sam Harper; owner and designer of Sweats By Sam. Sam is a fashion design major at Drexel and everything that an aspiring small business owner should be. A true icon.
I love this short set because it has the option to be purchased with a zip up or a crew neck. Here I am wearing the orange crush in the shorts set with the zip up sweatshirt. The shorts are offered in three sizes but all sweatshirts are one size: oversize. As a small gal myself, I was worried about the oversize swallowing me whole, but honestly I love it. Comfy like a blanket but on trend with the tie dye.
Sweats by Sam offers various color ways, and all are offered in both sweat shorts or sweatpants. Def check out the Sweats by Sam instagram because that shiiiii be poppin.

Now, this set was my quarantine uniform. I lived for this ish. The sweatshirt was purchased from the Shadow Hill website directly, but that was a pretty penny. For a great deal, ya girl sought out a steal and bought the matching sweats on depop.com.
If you have not made an account on DEPOP, then sis you are missing out! It is a huge platform where users can buy and sell their clothing. I am huge shopper there and it’s a great outlet to find pricey clothing at a discounted price. Most of the time the clothes are barely worn, but are definitely discounted. So get yourself a DEPOP account asap and start saving some $$$!

This section is a two parter. It would not be a completed athleisure post without a Champion mention. These sweatshirts are of high quality and are worthy of the $$$$. But, these sweatshirts are also widely found on DEPOP like my Shadow Hill sweatpants. Therefore, us fashionistas can enjoy the durability of Champion, but indulge on the discount of second hand. Yes sis!
Then my sweatpants. These are the pants that I wear when I want to be comfortable but also want to be spicy. My mom and sister scouted these babies out at a sample sale in NYC, so we got them at a discounted price. We love to see a good style deal! That being said I have not found a link to the sweats or even ones that are similar. However, I linked both full price and discounted versions of the Champion hoodie.

Ladies and gents, if you are looking for sweat staples that are high quality but not overpriced, look no further than Walmart, specifically the Russel Athletic brand. The reverse weave material is comparable to the coveted Champion brand. Emphasis on Russel Athletic and NOT the Hanes brand. I have also purchased lounge wear from Hanes through Walmart and girl, I looked like a cast member of Orange is the New Black. #PrisonerVibe. Definitely suggest sticking to the trustworthy Russel Athletic.
Russel has a wide range of hoodies and crewneck that are fuego! I know they make several sweatpants designs, but I have not dabbled in that territory yet. Of course, once I eventually do purchase their track pants, I will report back on my findings. I also have this crewneck in white and plan on expanding my collection.
For sizing, I wanted an oversized fit so I purchased a medium. Full disclosure, it shrunk in the wash to my normal size. That being said if you are a fellow oversized fit lover, I definitely suggest sizing up 2 sizes.

This a new finding of mine and is going to a wardrobe supplying staple. This online retailer has an IMMACULATE selection of loungewear that every consumer will thrive in during their time at home.
The piece pictured here is in my weekly wardrobe. I am unable to take it off! It has the comfort of a sweatshirt but the convenience of a romper. I would like to personally thank the loungewear gods for gifting us fashionistas with such a creation.
This piece comes in several colors and I am trying to restrain myself from purchasing them all!
